Byron Beck has 45 years oil and gas industry experience working as a Geophysicist in numerous countries and geological settings worldwide, commencing in seismic processing before specializing in seismic interpretation.

He has worked for both national and independent oil companies including KUFPEC, Khafji Joint Operations and GPX in Kuwait, Cluff Oil and Union Texas in London, UTP and Lasmo in Pakistan, Cairn in India and Pearl Energy in Vietnam, as well as service companies including Horizon Exploration, Halliburton and SSI.  Working principally for operating oil companies, his role covered the full range from exploration through appraisal and development of mature fields. 

Byron graduated from Leicester University with a B.Sc. in Geology with Geophysics, is a member of AAPG, SEG, EAGE and GESGB, and has authored over 15 technical publications.
